  • are you using a resonance board? I use those at work with my kids.

  • @shandar7 I built that platform about 14 years ago. I guess it's similar to a resonance board, but it's designed specifically to act as a kick drum.

  • John.. new fan. This is so good. Major props to ya. (Love the Neumann!)

  • @donarneysyndicate That's a hybrid I built with the body of a KMS104 and the screens from a 105. It kills both of them, sonically.

The mod can be done with a 5¢ plastic washer and another 5¢ rubber O ring (and the mic and replacement screens).

  • this just absolutly rocks, great live performance. The person that disliked this has no taste in music, performance and art. all I can say is just this is an awesome performance. Rock on John.

  • cool man nice

  • @lax2440 I couldn't agree more..... wowiiiiieeeeee!!!!! I saw John for the first time on 12/10/11 at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley, CA. It was his first US show as a member of The House Jacks. I was a little shocked when they did this song (they had regularly performed it years ago with a different lineup), but the more I listen to & watch John's version, the more I like it. :-)

  • @johnpointer Any chance you could put up plans or a picture and let me know what material was used in making it? I'd love to do something like it and can't find it anywhere. PS great job on this song, AMAZING!!!!

  • Oh My God

  • freaking GREAT.. as a player and singer for 45 years.. i applaud you john..

  • that one person who disliked this probably just missed the like button by acident lol
