@SthealthRaider but it can also be that those ropes are so built that you can't bend them in a way that is possible for small boats, so it would mean that it's either extremly hard to get it like u say or impossible but when u think of a big vessel they have their moornings so that it works with allmoust every wind(and current)-direction. but u have to remember that big ropes may break if u put them in the way u say.

@Templehawk hmm. yes it still its. because if you have a different current or wind direction then u want to remove the aft line, bow line spring or whatever. i have always been told that i have to go under the eyes and then on the bollard

@SthealthRaider maybe the moorning ropes are connected to the same vessel in question, in that case it's not so important that U have the moorning ropes in the way you say. but if they are connected to a another vessel then U are right.

those guys suck at mooring! the rope should go under the 2 eyes of the other ropes and then over the bollards. so that the other lines can be thrown off
