Honda Debuts Sleek and Sophisticated Concepts for All-New 2012 Civic Si Coupe and Civic Sedan Models at the Detroit International Auto Show. Presented by Sports Car Illustrated. http://www.sportscarillustrated.com
Not everyone is a street racer you guys... most of us don't need 300hp to drive to work every day. the 25mpg average means more to me than 300hp. I was looking at mustangs and camaros, but they just aren't practical. I'd rather have a 4 door that gets good miles per gallon, more features, more reliable, and still fun to drive over an impractical base 2 door muscle car that's probably just going to get me a lot of tickets. I'm going to buy the si sedan w/ nav as a commuter car.
The base mustang would spank the paint off of a cvic si, they also have more room, styling that actually looks better than a badger's poop, and a v6 still has over 300hp than this 4 banger wheezer machine, gimme a break!!
@ej1kev people aren't used to the new designs yet, it's ALWAYS been like this whenever a new model comes out, like, "oh it's not as good as the older ones" yet people where saying the same thing when the older ones first came out. But if you have a CRX in GOOD condition and keep that thing for a while, it will be worth alot of money as the value appreciates due to rarity. But it has to be in MINT condish!!
@craijona the base model mustang and camaro aren't really that good. And they don't have as many standard features as the Si does. if i'd get a stang, i want the fucking V8 in it! no V6's Unless it's a high performance 9k RPM V6! well, American V6's have always failed compared to their foreign counterparts.
Who would buy a civic si compact car when they can get a base mustang or camaro with 100+more hp for the same price and a helluva lot better looks too?
