A variation of the muscle up, climb ups are used to climb up and over a wall from the hanging position. Climb ups are used extensively in Parkour; after doing wall pops, arm jumps, and climbing in general. The climb up builds the necessary strength and coordination to overcome any shape wall and is an invaluable skill for any practitioner.

  • He's pusshing up with one of his feet, right?

  • @Primape92 yes, you need to use your legs right to have good climb ups.

  • How cold was it? Lol Umm...Are there any strength requirements or excersises that help to build up strength to at least do one of these?

  • @DaRussianz lots of dips and pull ups.

  • hey my shoes always slip on the wall, do i need to get a new shoe..??????

  • @awmingyeh no, shoes will help but good technique makes it possible no matter what shoes you have.

  • in how much days i will be able to climb a wall if i do that day by day? answer please

  • @R3yT163rRT"the world is our playground." go training to the vaticano.

  • I've been doing parkour and freerunning since I was a kid. Over the years, i've progressively gotten better, and with the help of videos like this, I wouldn't be good enough to do parkour or freerunning bare foot and with atleast an excess 90 lbs. of wheight on my back. Keep up the good work with these videos.

  • i dont have much upper body strength i cant do dat..........yet;)

  • @Equinox226 i started when i was 10 just keep practicing and building you confidence :D

  • yo man every time I go free running the cops get called on me and I get in tons of trouble what should I do email me at Millopwill@yahoo

  • @TvvinkleToes Np man! ^^ Keep doin your best! Never stop goin! Who says there no good spots around? Haha My neighborhood is just a playground & sidewalks which good to use too :P

Just find anything & think of how it cud be used to ur benefits in Parkour :)

Like if u find a rail or pole, check out the "Urban Exercise Rail" video - DemonDrills! Even the sidewalk! If u find a fence attached onto the sidewalk, try practicing cat leaps :] It'll b difficult but so worth it later on!

    Stay Excellent~ :)
