What is to be seen when collimating an SCT.
Bob's Knobs replaced the original collimation screws.

Watch the concentric rings, the black circle and the white dot in the black circle.
Collimation is done close to focus. Close to focus, then the rings become better visible.

Classic orange Celestron C8 from the seventies, done with barlowlens 2X orignal old Celestron model and volcano top eyepiece 40, 25, or 9 mm.

Star test.
