I am glad he survived the hard times and didn't end up on drugs or alcohol... but anyway I don't believe this is the right way. Maybe for now as a process of healing his soul and putting himself together but for the future...I know he longs for a normal family life and I hope he'll be strong enough to get back to the real world. I want Paddy Kelly back (I mean as a person not necessarily on the stage).

He didn't "quit the monastery". He did leave religious life, after completing his 6 years of temporal vows and decided, along with the congregation, it was best to focus on his music to a degree that the vows weren't made for. That''s what you can read on the official website. In the end, it's the same, he's getting ready for more singing in 2011 but this is a bit a more complete story than the one you've been shouting... :p

vieleicht war es ganz gut,für ihn ins kloster zu gehen.viele nehmen drogen,wenn sie nicht weiter wissen,oder bekommen sexsucht.da finde ich den spirituellen weg besser.und einglück haben die mönche ihn wieder überzeugt aus dem kloster rauszugehen und ein spirituelles leben im altag zu führen.das kann man nämlich auch.es ist leicht ein spirituelles leben im kloster zuführen.es ist aber schwer ein spirituelles leben im altag zuführen.da beweist sich die ware große spirituelle seele.
