  • could I use the same technique when i knit lace/? is it OK to add anew ball of yarn on the purl side?

  • @EmeraldQueen206

yes, you can do it the same with lace. I always try to add at the beginning of a row though, if possible. you can also add on a purl row.

  • also works for working in the round as if knitting a hat?

  • @bellylaughing

you probably know by now.....yes, the same. please keep watching and look for me on facebook.

  • I'm probably the last person you want to hear from so soon...but how do you add in a new ball of yarn doing the bamboo stitch pattern?

  • @KnitWolf

you probably already figured it out, but my advice would be to try to add the new yarn on a purl row.

    hope that helps you.

  • Hi, Thank you for posting this video. I ran out of yarn in the middle of a row. Could I use the same technique you are showing in the video?

  • I usually just tie a knot. This is much better. Thanks.

  • Now how do I do that when I'm a left handed knitter? The tail is at the bottom corner of the things I knit. So I do the same thing? Please tell me. ._____.

  • @EmeraldQueen206

you probably figured this out already....yes, you can. it;s always preferable to add new yarn at the beginning of a row, but sometimes you just can't. please keep watching and like me on my facebook page.
