Oh, really? In my experience with former Soviets, their life there differs depending on their location and various other factors.

That is like creating a theme park of a Beverly hills Mansion and saying, this is what 2000s life was like the USA. When, in the same country you have people who have no work and live in trailers.

There is a reason why many Russians today are very nostalgic about the USSR, because they lost more with it's collapse than gained.
