Looking for another free MMO experience? I've got details on the latest free to play option. What's up guys, Andrea Rene here for Clevver Games. Trion's massively multiplayer online game Rif got its 1.7 update this week. This update is being billed as the first event in the Carnival of the Ascended patch.

The update improves upon the PvP gameplay, adds a new Chronicle, an additional Master Mode dungeon, better endgame equipment and you can now get married! If all of this sounds awesome, and you've never played Rift before, now you can get your feet wet with Rift Lite.

The new update introduces this new version of Rift that allows gamers to play up to the first 20 levels of the game for free. And the best part? There are no restrictions! Unlike some other free-to-play MMOs, there are no class restrictions, no race restrictions, and no time or server restrictions.

Executive Producer Scott Hartsman said, "Rift has evolved at a breakneck pace, through seven massive updates that set new expectations for live MMOs...We think a Lite edition with no time limit is the best way for players to see what an amazing experience Rift continues to be."

@tigersmil its free up to lvl 20 unlimited with a bunch of restrictions ,. companies are starting to notice a timed trial does not work in this comptetive industry,. this way it gives players plenty of time to try out a few classes and explore what the game has to offer,. i think this is a good move for rift and wow,.
