@canales26 Apparently you didn't understand who Ms. Emelda "20,000 Pairs of Shoes" Marcos was!
-
@canales26 exactly, dictators are no better than anyone, in fact most of the time they're far, far worse and snubbing them should be applauded.

when you have something special like the Beatles in pop culture, there will always be those who resent them for what they are..4 young talented individuals who only wanted to play music to make the world feel good..record burnings, pissed off dictators, angry religious fanatics, are simply the backlash of ignorant, simple, close minded people who had no control over the situation that was BeatleMania..and you fear, hate and resent what you can't control..i'm so glad they snubbed that bitch marcus!

when something like the Beatles came into the world of pop culture, and people couldn't comprehend the whirlwind that was Beatlemania, self conscious fear, loathing and ignorance of the unknown, caused the backlash of hate mongering, burning records and contempt towards four young talented individuals..they were special, and when people realized this, they resented them..it's called rampant ignorance, and it's still alive and well today !..i'm so glad they snubbed the emelda marcus bitch !

Disgusting dictactors ......down with them!! BEATLES FOREVER!!

Neither John nor Paul was "the leader"; that's part of the greatness of The Beatles -- it was a collaboration of four very different but EQUAL partners. "The leader" in Italian is "Il Duce" -- you know, like Mussolini -- and it's "der Feuhrer" in German. Come to your own conclusions, but quit debating who was "the leader" of The Beatles, please.
-
Yeah, that 's a bad habit dictators have.....expecting people to do what they ask!
-
john is the LEADER.
The Beatles have the right to deny going to any presidential invitation (or whatever invitation)if they dont want to . They are musicians, and they were hired to play music, not meet dictators.

Yeah, that's genius-
Burning all those Beatles' albums just because they didn't want to go to a dictator's dinner on their day off.
It's kind of funny watching them and then the Southern USA kids later on burning Beatles albums...
Looking back on it, it's almost like watching them tear up and burn hundreds and thousands of dollars right in fron of their faces...
But by far the best:
"'Ordinary passenger! Ordinary passenger!' Do ordinary passengers get kicked?"
Lennon genius
