Kids, don't try this at home without adult supervision, it might not turn out the same as in this video. The horse is a four year old quarter horse who had escaped and run wild as a stallion in the Gila mountains of New Mexico.

Soon after being captured, Jonathan Gandert of Belen, NM bought him, got him gelded right away, but despite being an experienced horseman, after 30 days had made little progress. The morning of this video, Jonathan went to rope the black gelding, who instead escaped by jumping a four foot fence. This terrified the neighbors, who thought the gelding was a dangerous outlaw. Despite all this, Jonathan finally roped him and got him over to Bob Allen's place. You have to see the rest to believe it.
