  • You never explained how you made the benzier curve and circle in the logo solid. Have tried many things but can't get it to work.

  • @GokuFour Check out Back to the basics episode 3 to create the fill. I explain it there.

  • You really should take the extra time to make your basic model clean, even if it is just for the purpose of explaining stuff. It will make the viewers a lot more confident in what you're saying. You should also take a little time to plan out exactly what you are doing, maybe even write a script.

The good news is, you seem to know what you're doing, you don't talk too fast or too slow, you're not mumbling, the presentation is great! =)

  • @eviloatmeal I agree with you completely. I should have had a better model. I wanted to wait till tomorrow to record this video, but I promised my loyal viewers a video today and, despite being in the middle of rebuilding my kitchen after a water pipe burst, I set as much time as I could aside to record a video. It wasn't perfect, but I do believe it gets the message across.

Thanks for your constructive criticism. I respect it and appreciate it completely.

  • @Diver0101 Right click on the outer logo in object mode, switch to edit mode with that still highlighted and add the circles in while in edit mode.

  • I was just finding out that ctrl + z undoes your action, but ctrl + y does not redo. ctrl + shift + z, redoes the action.

  • @Diver0101 if you never got it, just go into object mode (wireframe), select the outer and then hold shit and right click the inner circle. after that just hit ctrl+j and voila, magic.

  • nevermind i figured it out.

  • I've been looking for good Blender tutorials and I have found them. Thank you for doing these videos; hopefully you will make more.

  • @rubbae09 Thanks for finding out :) Had the same problem. Nearly killed myself after sevreal minutes trying to figure it out ;)

  • Same problem here the circles are NOT cutting the logo as you show.

  • For the Blender symbol, when I'm doing the inner circles, it doesn't automatically cut it out. Help?

  • You make really good tutorials.

And now you've got a new subscriber :)

  • Im having a little trouble saving my work, any time I click save I rename it and choose and output folder. But when I try to reopen it It wont open
