I was 12 when this happened. I literally broke down in tears, being the loyal Husker fan I was. That game was an ass-kick, to say the least!

this was either the first or second play of the game. this is an example of why nebraska was always a little fried on the subject of barry switzer (the river boat gambler).

to all ou fans from this nebraska fan i would like to thank you for such a great rivalry id rather lose to ou than Texas any day and i hope we never lose but from the game of the century to day loved the respect we had have for each other hope for nothing but success for you this season and many more we have had many good memories from the games and it will never be like this again please kick Texas in the mouth for us good luck go big red and go ou from the big red of the north to south cheers

It's only the finest TE reverse in the history of college football. What about Johnny Rodgers' punt return in '71? There were about five clips that weren't called. I think it's a little hypocritical to say there was a clip there with #55 when there were a shitload of clips that weren't called on that punt return 14 years earlier.
