SAIN ZAHOOR was born and raised in a rural peasant family and for decades he performed exclusively at dargahs and melas in his native Okara district of Pakistan. In 1989 he was invited to the All Pakistan Music Conference to give his first ever performance on a concert stage.

Fans of the Sufiana kalams claim that seeing and hearing Sain Zahoor in full flow is the closest anyone alive will get to being in the presence of the the Sufi mystics of yore, like Bulle Shah and Shah Hussain.

Can I have download link to this mp3

..stars but...when I hear Lata jee singing (L.Mangeshkar), I acknowledge her being an Indian. She looks, breaths, lives and expresses "Indian" and that´s a wonderful thing!

But when it comes to Pakistan and Islam..ppl are quick to try and take our identity away from us. Like the great Ustaad Nusrat F.A. Khan. He even sang national songs. Nobody should say that he isn´t Pakistani.

Gosh, ppl are so see through racists sometimes!

  • @halohomer tear dropping

  • Sufi is not essentially MUslim. It predates Islam by a lonng way. You can be a HIndu, a muslim etc and be a Sufi. The connection to Islam is in the geographical region.

There is a wonderful book called Chasm of Fire/Daughter of Fire - an account of one person's teaching with Radha Mohan Lal, a Hindu Sufi Sheikh from the Naqshbandiyya-Mujadiddiya Sufi Order. It is a truly remarkable story.

  • so true......love for that one lord is much more important than any ilm and law...!!! And once u realize that he is the one lord of all....u will feel that love for everyone around u!!

    Bass kareen ohh yaar.....ilm.....bass kareen.....

Kanjari banniyan jaat ni ghat-di...mainun nach ke yaar manawan do....

  • @sharmaedm To my friends - Love between our people is unbelievable - Some one put a line called border between us and injected hatred. Those bad people are gone now. I hope someday we can all be happy for each other. These five rivers are as much yours as they are mine. Dariya ne ta rukh nahi moreya fir mere yar tu kyu muh more litta eh tere watan honda si te aj vi tea hi hai...teri dekhan wali akh nahi. - An Indian
