  • Todd's remixes all take on the same sound after about the 5th remix you hear. I like them, but come on,.....they are so formulaic. You could mix them flawlessly because they are built onthe same beat/melody count.

  • Distinctive yes, but you recognise a Neptunes track when you hear it, or Timbaland for that matter. It's the same production all the time / sticking with favourite beats and samples.

I would recommend comparing this remix to the recent Appaloosa - "The Day (We Fell In Love)" remix and see if they sound the same. I would say the sound has evolved considerably.

  • @scart1981 dude where can i buy that song i always just see the fucking LAME ASS vocal mix but this is THE SHIT!!

  • @hausmeister64 You need the CD single: discogs[.]com/St-Germain-Alabama-Blues/release/504

  • Wow, this is amazing. Loving the guitar progression, and the choppy vocals. This Todd Edwards guy really knows what he's doing. No wonder he's so loved down in the 90s House scene.

  • this is the best remix of the song, completely mental

  • TUUUUUUUUUUUNE!!

  • @kingskid96 Mate you are such a chump. maybe the truth is that Todds approach to remixing tunes is systematic and very possibly "formulaic" as you say. Either way he is still one of the masters of house/garage music and I'm clearly not the only one devoted to his music. The ability to create music is something that comes from within and a quality that in my opinion you inherit from birth.

Piss off and go and listen to the X Factor crap, I'm sure thats more up your street.....!

    Word

  • @hausmeister64 You probably didn't mean anything by it, but please don't call anything made by Todd Edwards "lame ass" if you like his music...

  • One of the first ever house and garage tunes I ever listened to. What a tune!!!

  • @kingskid96 you ignorant piece of shit, ever tried mixing 2 Todd Edwards records or any records for that matter? If you don't like it don't fucking listen to it.

  • jesus loves you ...
