Would this tuning system enable a really good-sounding tiny kit for a small child, (or ultra-portable pro kit)?

@lazur1 Hi Lazur, yes most definitely. Obviously for a child you would want smaller sizes, like perhaps 16 or 18" bass drum and shallower drums that can be mounted lower. As for the portable kit, same thing, but the beauty is you can take say a 12" tom and detune it down to sound like a 14 or even 16" should you wish!

I have a question about the Free Floating System tuning. From what I saw on the website, you can tune both heads at the same time with the turn of only the top tension rods. Is this correct? I saw the Omni-Tune system by Tama but you can't tune both the batter and reso tension rods with the turn of only the batter, there's a diagram to tune them from one position, but it's a different key you need to use or something...

@mexicanmaggot666 Yes that's the difference. With Sleishman you can tune the drum from either the batter or the resonant head, should you wish.

Hey Sleishman! Seen this video over and over. I really like this concept, but there's no dealer in my country, which is Denmark. The checked the German dealers - but it was only snare-drums. Do I have to order this by email? Im not going to order it now. Just in case - you know.

@Buhzie15 my drum teacher has an 18" Sleishman bass drum that i think sounds better than this (i think) with no mics or anything!! it gives my ears orgasms eveytime i hear it :D

Sounds good. Nice system the freefloatingtuning system only having to tune top head and ...bottom head automatically has same tension, Resulting tone is perfect.
