niqab isn't forced to many women. it's our choice. no one could force me to wear, not even my husband. my husband was actually suprised when i said i wanted to wear it al hamdu li llah. it takes real strength to wear it, and it is a contriversal subject but it brings you closer to Allah(God). and it's meant for women to wear it to lower there gaze and make others not wanna talk to you. i know me when i go out in hijab men still wanna talk to me and niqab detours them. WHY DO I WEAR NIQAAB? This is a statement of how sure I am that Islam is the TRUTH! Why should I care who sees me and who doesn't when I know Islam is the Truth and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala has promised Firdaus to those who practice sabr upon the Truth.

@charya72 2. My habibi, you are never going to convince me that forcing women to cover is a good thing. Women are not little children that you can tell what do do because you think it is best. You cannot force oppression on women because you think they are too weak to handle men. You need to accept that fact that women are equal to men. @charya72 I was joking about the running topless thing. But you logic in forcing woman to wear the niqaab is antiquated. YOU must be a man. That is how muslim men think. I remember that exact same logic when i lived in Saudi. It is good for women to cover. Women are not cheap. etc etc. You try wearing that all black covering in 175 degree weather. @ThingsThatVexMe In Islam; Men and women are not equal. Muslim women are allowed to wear silk and gold, whereas if a man wears them, it's a major sin. If you believe in equal rights for men and women, I hope you'd support in ending discrimination against women in those States of the US where men are allowed to run on the street completely TOPLESS, but if a woman commits same action, she's arrested in the name of INDECENT EXPOSURE for the same action considered DECENT under law when a man commits
