  • do you use piping or something else? How do you get the fabric to wrap around the rope if you make it yourself? What you are making is amazing and you've inspired me to give it a go!

  • @hannah0golightly I use an all cotton clothes line. I pre-wrap one inch strips of fabric , then sew we go!!

  • Do you have to use a special kind of needle? Or does a regular-strength one do the job ok?

  • @bentman55 I use a heavy size needle . like the kind you would need to sew thru denim or blue jeans. And change it when it get dull.

  • oh, now I see your rope wrapped with fabric to the right of your sewing machine. how do you figure out how much to wrap ahead of time for the size bowl or whatever you are making?

  • @casagrandecats I just sew until I feel I have completed the project, its not planned , only inspiration..lol
