    Start watching the floorpan at 14:50. You'll see that something bursts on the oiling system and the engine oil starts gushing out onto the floor.

    All the contemporary race reports of Maserati entrants dropping out referred to some "broken oil pipe." I always thought they really meant "oil pipe ruptured by shrapnel from grenaded connecting rods.
