christmas present!!

right... you can sample it with midi through a computer but not from the machine itself. i owned this thing for two days... very very nice. nice soft pads. good construction.. but forget about putting together an original 'kit' or sampling anything for that matter without a computer and midi + software.

@Soulfab of course you can connecti it to your computer and use it as a controller it has MIDI in/out all you need is a midi to usb adapter

does anybody know if you can hook this up to the mpc 500?
-
is there any way to connect it to your computer?
i think people sayin the soulja boi shit do have a point, but this thing could be used legit too...i mean lets say i'm just chillin at a starbucks or somethin readin a book and i want to make a beat. just pull this thing out of your backpack and lay some shit down. when you get home you can remake it with real shit. it ain't for makin real songs right off the machine, it's for fun. who gives a shit if it's a lil corny, it's all about having fun. its not like we are all legit producers anyway.

it has Midi connections. i use it when im not at home to make beats, and when i am home i load them into the computer through audio and i use it as a midi controler to trigger samples i make in ableton live. its a actually a pretty useful tool. u can assign any pad to any control u want. its MPD with out sliders and encoder knobs (plus built in sounds) pretty useful if u ask me.
