@guitarbassplayer68 the problem was that DP with Ritchie after 84 was not the DP of 72 - Ritchie had changed, as is the case with all of us. Everything that lives goes through changes - that's how you know something that is alive is living and not dead. DP with Ritchie had become the Ritchie Blackmore Group, or Deep Rainbow. So it was not a case of Blackmore or Morse, it was a case of DP or no DP.
