These are made of the highest quality and toughest leather in my stock, quite different from the veg tan, considering the amount of effort (hard to manipulate leather) to make these top of the line boots the cost is 600 dollars. expensive yes but worth it, truly the best boots I've made thus far. only flaw is a scar in the leather the size of dime on the left vamp no effect to the integrity of the leather and not to noticable
