  • Nil guth dá laghaid sa tír seo leis an binneas agus crinneas cheanna ná atá ag an geirseach sin!

  • Haha; I'm afraid this one I didn't quite get through. As embarrassing as it is, can anyone offer a translation?

  • Taitníonn binneas ghuth an cailín go mór liom. Amhrán álainn ansan!

  • I've just started studying Irish, so I managed to get through this (with a little help from a dictionary). The lead singer, Karan Casey, does have a great voice!

  • Go tapaidh agus go halainn! Go raibh maith acu a chairde.

  • Níl a bhuíochas!

Would you go on a Russian band's youtube and demand that all their fans speak in English? We are very proud of our language so of course we're gonna speak it, why should we "go easy on it" just because some people don't speak it? If we did that then the language would have died out by now.

Not meaning to sound horrible, just seems that you wouldn't say that to any other nationality about their home language (at least I hope you wouldn't) so why do it to us?

  • im not sure solas ever replaced Karen Casey. I lost interest after she left

  • Grand.

  • Amazing song, but the sound quality is a little off.

  • There's nothing more beautiful than listening to the music of my heritage! Such beautiful music and lyrics!

  • That is the most beautiful language I have ever heard in my life. It is music to my ears.

  • Beir búa leis an Gaeilge a chara !
