Just picked up the iPhone 4s about an hour ago and decided to take it to a nearby trail for a quick video quality test. The 4s shoots 1080p HD video. The only catch is to upload a video you need to connect to a wifi network. This video was directly uploaded from the iPhone 4S.

Feel free to tell me your opinion of the quality in a comment below.

  • You really should of not edited it. You exported in 720p, why would you down grade the video quality? Makes no sense to post this as a video quality test.

  • @TheGreenCheekConure I found out that if you directly upload a video from the 4S to youtube it shows up at 720p. I made a new video and exported it in 1080p from iMovie. The new vid should be up in a little bit

  • It's not giving 1080 p option.

  • @javidnky2005 Yeah i noticed that. Maybe the video still needs to process longer. The video was directly uploaded from the 4S using the only HD option. Its possible that the 4S cant upload directly from the phone to youtube in full 1080p. I'll figure it out so far all I see is 720 hd.

  • yep upload from the app is only 720p

  • idiot

  • YouTube doesn't do true 1080p videos.

  • wow...people disliking this video just because it's not in 1080p HD.

  • @CaseReviews Oh that's strange..well okay, I'll check out the new video. Thanks for sharing :)

  • Maybe copy the video to your PC or Mac and upload it from there? I would be curious to see it in full 1080p.

  • MANSION HOUSESS !

  • If you upload the video using IMovie and choose HD, it will upload it as 1080P. I just tried it and it worked. I was having the same problem.
