This little presentation from Ireland is supposed to do what?

This is a huge undertaking, the Iraq war.

There are many nuances to this effort.

It was about Saddam's intransigence, his danger to his neighbors, many of whom are allies of the US. He was a threat, by extension, to most of the world. He did have WMDs. There were no lies about that.

There were miscalculations aplenty. Very costly for America and those willing to help out. Costly in terms of blood and money.

Was it worth it?

Well it was only basic, I know that. But I think most people are at this point in the belief that america should not have entered iraq. I did statee in the video that iraq hadn't wmds. I'm also completely against the war.

It was just an experimentation at a documentary sort of style for me.

I know that there is many bits of information thats its missing. But thanks for your response.

Of course George W. Bush is kind of an idiot, BUT, he has at his disposal the best information and advisers available to man.

As a lay person, I don't get the inside information.

But your own personal opinions seem to be focused on a very narrow, short term, vision.

Well, just because you didn't think Saddam had WMDs, and just because you thought his secular government was just fine, and he was no threat to anyone, that doesn't make it so.

The wider picture, which will come into focus for you at some time in the distant future I suppose, includes fanatical extremist Islamists who would very much like to conquer the world, using techniques such as suicide bombers, and not just in Iraq. You know where.

These people are insane. Have no shame and no fear..

You seem to be ignorant of the reality in the Middle East. The USA is constantly threatening Iran, and has been since 1979.

USA is athreat to stability and peace in the Middle East. This is obvious from it's military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, it's constant threats to Iran and Syria, and it's continued support of Israeli apartheid.

people seem to forget that USA is 7000 miles from the Middle East. Why is it so heavily involved in the region?
