This is a Stop Motion short for my Stop Motion Animation class.

This short film is created, directed, animated, and edited by myself.

The dragon's name is Lucky. Isn't he adorable? If I can get the armature wire out of him and coil him delicately enough, I'm baking him and giving him to Ginger as a gift. :)

The music is from Guild Wars: Factions

  • cool!

    and cute dragon^^

  • Thanks Soria!

  • This is awesome!! :D The dragon is adorable to boot, too. Good luck getting the wire out :)

  • Thanks! *hug* I'm glad you liked the little dragon too. :)

  • That was amazing. Ever since I saw stop motion in movies and all the ''making of'' of those movies, I truly bow down to those who have patience to create stop motion in any form. Yours is cute (good thing), has a dragon in it (big bonus points), has Guild Wars music in it (I still haven't managed to go on an adventure with you or GingerAnne so far, though you get huge points for this aspect) and overall, it was quiet fluid.

Can't wait to see future projects!!!

  • Stop motion is fun. It can be repetitive, but the art you can create is worth all the time spent preparing it. Thanks for the feedback! There are a lot of things that I'm learning; this is my first Stop Motion project and I hope that these projects will help me learn and continue to make beautiful pieces.

A Guild Wars advanture would be fun! Ginger and I haven't been able to spend much time on Guild Wars, but we both absolutely love the game. I love playing with friends and groups too. :)

  • I'm always up to bring life to a group when long journeys are on the menu. I once commented like a hockey commentator the runners that helped me go for the first time to Temple of Ages. The people laughed their socks off throughout the run and they didn't even want to be paid in the end because they thought payment enough for my random blabberings :P

As for this being your first stop motion, I think it's quite a bit project for a first. look up Arielle Laflamme on GW someday ;)
