海上自衛隊ヘリコプター搭載護衛艦ひゅうが JMSDF HYUGA

海上自衛隊ヘリコプター搭載護衛艦『ひゅうが』（DDH-181）です。

本級の艦種は駆逐艦とされていますが、全長197m・基準排水量13,950トンの巨艦であり、さらに全通飛行甲板や巨大な格納庫を装備していることから、実質的には、対­潜ヘリ空母です。2009年に就役しました。

現在、2番艦『いせ』が建造されており、2011年に就役予定です。



This model is Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force（JAPAN NAVY） helicopter-carrying escort ship "Hyuga" (DDH-181).

The class of this warship is considered to be a destroyer, but Hyuga is a big warship.（full length 197m / standard displacement 13,950t.）

Furthermore, Hyuga have a completion flght deck and a big hanger deck.

In other words Hyuga was placed on duty as an anti-submarine helicopter carrier substantially in 2009.

And now,the second ship of this class "Ise"(DDH-182) is under　construction.
