HPI NITRO RS4 1/10 Scale 1

This is the original HPI RS4 the first one that came out before the others did and i restored it also i moded a cooling fan with a 9V and swich now its like brand new and also its my frist nitro rc too LOL. So this is how i got it for $20 am i lucky or what while my parents was looking for to buy furniture from this guy then i saw the rc in the box and he was going to throw it out so he told me that the engine was overheated and the cylinder got stuck so i ask if he sell it for $20 the he said yes it came with no suvos ,receiver and no wheels the, wheels look crappy cuase got it out of a toy suv rc. The receiver kit i got from trading a old laptop (P1 75MHZ) for it from my friend. I wold make a video of it running but i have no more rc fuel.

Nice ride. I have the same rs4 . Payed 100 us dollars (used). It has been great so far. Its from 1998 so i think its gen 1 . I took off the belt to front wheels and pulled the front dog bones out . just because im getting a AE86 body for it witch is a rear wheel drive car. Stock motor seems to crank fine for me . I think you are missing a belt tensioner on the right side, the small belt that drives the front wheels , or maybe its an addon . Anyway good luck . great video

i traded mine away long ago and i got this for $20 :P but the engine was dying and came with no radio or wheels but after trading my shitty old laptop for a new radio set and $20 wheels later it was running great till i got my savage it came with a new T-15 engine free and just broken in after installing it she flies like a monster and now i miss it this one is 1987 model the first version of the rs4

Looks good but my Vintage rs200 looks nicer. Rs200 had a nicer body design and chassis is beautiful

Those pipes are a great thing for the guys with rs4 touring cars that want the exhaust like the rs4 3 drift.

Cheap too, $15 AUS on ebay.
