  • YES, I was thinking about glazing my charms with resin. I want a less chance of them breaking, I made my friend a stitch keychain (out of polymer clay) for christmas and the ears broke on him even though I quenched it after I made it :/. If you watch my video on my channel where I show the stitch I made, you can see why the ears broke lol. I just wanted some confirmation that it is an ok thing to do, does it in fact make ur charms sturdier?

  • @Shamblingundead Resin will DEFINITELY give your charms extra protection. It's a lot tougher than any other glaze you can use. I'm starting to do that now with my orders on my Etsy. Plus if done correctly, it almost gives your charms a "Manufactured" look :) Just be sure to look out for air bubbles, and you're pretty much set! I only recommend doing that if you have the patience with it. It will take much longer to glaze charms that way, and you need to check on it often.

  • @fritosacks thanks, I'll probably only do it with charms that have protruding bits (stitches ears lol).
