This is a video showing how to reseal, or "recard" a vintage Star Wars action figure to a reproduction cardback. When finished, it looks like an original unopenend figure mint on the card. This video shows all the tools you will need and explains exactly how to recard the figure. If you've got vintage Star Wars figures, this is a great way to display them! PART 2 OF 3

If you collect vintage Star Wars figures, be sure to check out my other videos. I do a weekly show here on youtube called "Vintage Star Wars Weekly".

"Vintage Star Wars Weekly" is a video show that focuses on vintage Star Wars toys. A new episode is released on youtube every Monday. The main hosts of the show are Darth Beer and Admiral Wetbar. The show also features weekly segments from Princess Midori and Sebastian DiNapoli. There is a different vintage figure featured on the show every week, with video of variant figures and commentary being provided by Sebastian. Princess Midori reads viewer emails in her weekly segment, and she also hosts a monthly vintage figure give-away contest that is open to anybody who would like to enter.

If you would like to have your Star Wars collection featured on an episode of "Vintage Star Wars Weekly", Feel free to contact us:
vswweekly@yahoo.com

If you have a comment you would like Princess Midori to read on an episode of the show, you can email her here:
vswwmidori@yahoo.com

You also use her email address to enter her vintage figure give-away contests. To learn exactly how to enter her contests, just watch her segment on any episode of the show.

  • why don't they sell the bubble with the tape already on it "peel and stick" ,it would save a lot of work

  • I have thought the same thing many times. If somebody would come out with "peel and stick" bubbles, they would make ALOT of money.

  • how/where can you get the 'bubble' and the card to recard the figures?

  • Just get on ebay and search "Star Wars cardback" or "Star Wars kit" and you should find several sellers. I don't ever go with any one seller. I just look for the lowest price.

  • @Beertrooper why do people always count a lot as being one word? It's clearly two words. I just don't get it.

  • Whats your source for the CardBack images??? I cant find any??? :S

  • does it look like the original?

how do i pick the fakes at the swap meets, there so many for sale. Not as rare as they used to be.

  • They are probably copied cards, not originals.

  • realy thats a cool story i wish i could have wrote a letter to kenner

  • Wow, I can't believe there are aftermarker cards and bubbles. Thanks for the information. I have about 100 original figures my my youth. I enjoy them uncarded in their cases. Funny story, as a child I sent a hand written letter to Kenner asking for a replacement gun for one of my figures. I received a bubble wrap manilla envelop several weeks/months later from kenner containing a bag of about 100 various plastic guns, probably 1 or 2 of every gun ever produced for the figures!!

  • this vid helped me recard my vintage nien nub thanks

  • yon u take 2 minuetes to put a piece of tape on. no offence but hurry it up. pls.

  • assrascal you sound like a punk ass bitch tryin to diss this guy. callin him a loser and yet you're a 34YR OLD englishman that watches WWF...

  • this guy is obviously good at this, leave him alone. but, i will say this. he really should be wearing white gloves or some powder free latex gloves to prevent fingerprints. otherwise good stuff and hey, why spend a fortune on AFA graded figs when you can get one of these for 15 bucks.
