  • yes, mr. payne is good, but to compare him to Mr. Tatum is ridiculas. Martial Payne should have corrected you, but since he did not. I will. You are obviously ignorant of the martial arts. We always train with a person standing still, or with a person doing pre-determined attacks. We don't practice with "resisting opponents." even sifu greg would tell you that. Duh!

  • @66booger Yes there is a time for both. You need to train with someone not resisting to practice and understand your concepts. Practice variations of attacks while using the same concepts and see how to make them work. Then you move up the tempo or have any attack come your way and use your concepts spontaneously. If you practice with a resisting opponent all the time you're more than likely not developing your sponteneity or make the process much slower. OSU!

  • Wow, a Kenpoist who looks like he can actually fight a resisting opponent. Don't tell Larry Tatum and the other hacks.
