NZ Tornadoes 05 July 2007

From Motunui in the north to Normanby in the south, trees were uprooted, roofs flung from houses and powerlines torn from poles as at least six tornadoes struck.

Between 40 and 50 houses in Oakura suffered up to 80 per cent damage.

Yea i remember the night when they hit Stratford. It was really stormy but then it went quite all of a sudden and thats when we heard the fire brigade and that...

I personally wasn't hit but i heard about it the second it happened through a massive txt chain.
