Oh My Love (Guns 'n' Roses - Aik Junoon) 1999

Song from Shaan's first film as director. A film which was supposed to bring a revolution in Lollywood .It might have not bought the revolution but for sure it got people thinking of what could be achieved with outdated equipment.

This was one slick film. It was stylishly shot. Most people thought they were watching some Hollywood film.

Technically and production wise it something special.
The photography, use of different lighting shades, song picturisation, set design was all very different. Credit went to Shaan and the producer Tanvir Fatima Rehman.

Guns 'n' Roses first half was very good but in the second half Shaan let him self down some what.. Stilll a great action film with brilliant performances by Shaan, Javed Shiekh but for me it was Farooq Zameer who played the character of Mafiso that was amazing. Resham and Faisal were some what wasted. Meera was ok. Nayyar Ijaz also was good.

The music by M.Arshad was very good and the song picturisaton made the songs a visual delight.

The film did good business at the box office.

This song is picturised on Faisal and Resham. The singers are Waris Baig and Shabnam Majeed.

The only sad fact is that original print of the film has never been released on DVD/Video.

I totally agree with you. We just don't have the technology of transferring 35mm film to DVD/Video properly. Just look at the prints of Pakistani films which were released here in UK during the1980s and 1990s on video. Print quality is excellent.

beautifull song .. i love the way they say oh my love .. why dont they make such music any more .. y do they always run to india for good singers , shabnam majeed , waris baig both awesome Pakistani singers ... but i always c shreya goshal and sonu nigham singing pakistani songs .. y so we have so much talent here ... but there's a INDIAN phobia ... anyways beautifull music .. they should have minused the dholak out of it ... gr8 anyways

film was good but editing was so bad kay sir say guzar gai thi.when i watch this movie i was in first year actually it was my first pakistani movie in cinema(black main ticket liay thay,that was eid day and its first show).

Whatever I loved the movie style , It was a revolution of Paks film industry into action packed style,

but i dont know where it went away,

This kind of film could be compared with high class foreign films,

does any body know can i buy/watch it

1stly ZIA hit movies badly then musharaf bastard hit movies badly otherwise we could have been comparing with bollywood or hollywood,

If we made this style in 90s we could make greatesst by now

tell u wat....shan screw this film....i watched 1st show in karachi... not a single shot,shoot outer....all inside studio...producer tanveer naqvi was pissed when prints came....
