Woman Flies To Utah To Marry Man Accused of Killing a Utah Corrections Officer

And people wonder why gay folks scoff at self-proclaimed defenders of "traditional marriage" ...

The woman, who asked us not to reveal her name or where she lives, will fly to Utah in a couple of weeks to finalize the plans.

Curtis Allgiers fiancée will see him in person for the first time when she shows up for their nuptials on April 20th (Hitler's birthday).

She says, despite only writing him and talking on the phone, she shares something with the tattooed accused killer.

In 2007, Allgier already in jail on other charges, was taken to the U of U Hospital for an MRI. He allegedly slipped free of his shackles and shot and killed corrections officer Stephen Anderson.

Allgier alleged the crime and his face littered with skin head tattoos and swastikas shocked Utah and the country, but attracted this woman living in the south.

Prosecutors may seek the death penalty in this case, but his fiancée-to-be says she is optimistic that Allgier will one day live her as a free man.

We should all jeer at the incongruity of it all. Where's the outrage, Utah?
