@normalguyable By Jewish law, Jesus would also have to participate in the passover, which included eating lamb. Can you give me the Church fathers you speak of? The Canon was decided around 180; the Council of Nicaea occurred in 325.
Josephus wrote very little about Jesus. He certainly never said Jesus was part of a Jewish sect. The apostles weren't vegetarians for the same reason Jesus wasn't. They were Jews and had to celebrate the passover.

@BradenToler sorry he never ate meat according to scripture. paul never met jesus, and i dont need him to tell me murdering animals is okay, murder of another being is wrong. the nazarene books, ebionites, church fathers were all vegetarains because thats what the earliest traditions taught them, the council of nicea destroyed the peaceful religion christianity once was, and destroyed thousands of books that were considreed scripture at faith and ignorance dont go together, save the sheep!

@bousquet92 to save every living being he made, especially the defenseless ones like the millions of sheep that are gonna be hung upside down and murdered. nearly every early church father was a vegetarian and matthew james peter andrew were as well.
before the council of nicea where the murderer constantine destroyed the loving no war no kill jesus, and has his priests decide what book is from god and what isnt. and change who he was. he was a nazarene and they were vegetarains,read josephus.

@normalguyable also, Jesus claimed to be one with the god from the old testament, the God in the old testament, yahweh, said that he was coming into the world to be born from a virgin. It was the same, thats what the Bible teaches, thats how he's the son of God. The only reason he is so harsh in the old testament, is because the Jews had to be Pure or Jesus being so holy couldn't have been born.
