Everyone who requested an Uber this Monday—President's Day—received a convenient and classy ride, like always. But a few lucky riders got a ride in the UBERcade, featuring three "Uber Secret Service agents" and two Suburbans flanking a sleek black town car. We couldn't clear traffic, and we may not have had tear gas, bulletproof armor, or a backup oxygen system in the trunk like B.O. does, but we proved that our UBERcade can turn some heads rolling through the streets of DC.
Miss out on the UBERcade fun? Get our already awesome service—and presidential treatment—and sign up on http://uber.com. Use promo code UBERCADE for $10 off your first ride!
Note: The UBERcade is all in good fun—not intended for real security. ;-)

I thought this was an especially clever idea. On President's day, I noticed at least 3 UBERcades driving around DC and thought it was the president or someone really important. Must have been a great surprise for people commuting via Uber. However, I think that Uber could have better highlighted the promotion after the fact. I happened to come across it but I feel as though many people who potentially would be in their target market and influenceable by the UBERcades, didnt see the promotion...

That must have been such a great surprise. I'd have loved to see the kids waving from inside the car. When are you folks coming to my part of Maryland?
