This hold is great for those kids who like to see everything but don't mind being snuggled. They will be facing forward with their legs crossed like sitting in "indian style". Put the sling on. Hold baby on opposite shoulder from where the rings are. Turn the baby so they are facing away from you and slide the sling over their body so it drapes across their belly. Grab half the fabric, fold their feet to be crossed and the soles of their feet touching their calfs. Pull half of the width of the fabrig over their crossed legs and around past their butt. The remaining fabric should be placed across thier chest with their arms over the top of the sling. Adjust the sling so the baby is in a tight hammock. Their head should still be chest level. Don't tighten them too tight or their head could be too far up and get in the way of you. Make sure the rings are high on your shoulder and the sling is fanned out over your shoulder and across your back. There should be no twisting in the sling.
