I am a birth mom. It is the most selfless thing I have EVER done for anyone! His parents are awesome and have been able to give him everything I would not have been able to. We have an open adoption and are connected on Facebook as well. In my heart and mind they are his parents and I am just the vessel God chose to get him to them. I can only hope that he turns out to be half the man his father is, then I know that I made the right choice. ( I do not mean the man he shares DNA with)

I am a birthmother... My son is a month old. This song means so much...I'm 17 and was alone through the entire thing. This song makes me cry every time. And I wanted to kno of you where adopted from Gladney because they have the book 'Good Night Moon' that I recorded my voice reading it.

I heard this for the first time today. It brought tears to my eyes. I will be meeting my birthmother for the first time in just a few days. I admire the courage that she had to let me go.

I just gave birth to the little girl Id always dreamed of at 5:10 am on Aug 3,2011. 8lbs 4oz 20 in. long. Head full of dark hair, beautiful dark eyes and long eyelashes. She went home with her adoptive mom and dad yesterday.It was the hardest most heartbreaking thing Ive ever done, leaving that hospital without her. But because of the circumstances of how she was conceived and the effects keeping her would have had on our family and her I gave her a fresh start with a new family...
