The nozzle has a useful steering effect in reverse, although it is not as effective as in forward thrust. The driver can tighten the reverse turn or turn the boat around in its own length by smoothly alternating between forward and reverse while steering in the same direction. Thanks for your question.

How do you control the direction in reverse if jetskis and jetboats direct the forward moving water in place of a rudder? Wouldn't you have zero directional control in reverse?
