  • While I respect Bach's genius and musicality as much as the next music lover, I must humbly disagree with you. I do not believe complexity is what makes it impressive or mediocre. Bach expressed emotion through complex, layered melodies. Minimalism expresses the same emotions, but through a different means: simple, elegance. To state that a composition is "written for dead people" simply because the notes of the song are few and far between, is a statement that I think would even make Bach sigh.

  • thanks for posting, very beautiful and professional, but for me some of the movements are a little too strong an energetic for this kind of minimalistic music ...

  • Wonderful.. It is as though you expressed the undercurrent of sorrow and angst of the music with your interpretation of dance. Brava!

  • beautiul beautiful beautifull, in all aspects.. respect to you , thank you for this dance..

  • Some stuff could have grown but i leave it as it is.

This is Spiegel im Spiegel to me, that night, that place and that moves swinging on the melody.

Thank u so much for the support and sharing!

    I appreciate...

    Nat

  • I just want to thank all of you for posting comments on this piece...Your words touch me very deeply, and reading all of them, i simply would like to say artists express and create themselves from different visions as people do. That' s what i did there. One night during which i felt no struggle making the beautiful music score, that it is, be mine for a second. Cause i really meant what came out, and was in harmony with what i was saying.

  • So many contemporary dance pieces seem to involve a lot of extraneous movement that expresses very little--except the dancer's technique. it's time for some meaningful minimalism in dance. In short, other music could have been playing during this choreography and nothing would have had to be changed in the choreography. Forsythe often changes his music before a premiere and none of the choreography gets changed. I don't get it.

  • It makes me think deep and reflect. For that I thank you for posting it. For those who knock it, I can only think that you watch too much daytime TV? Or read the Guardian.

  • I think that people who comment without contextual reference are only exposing their lack of education and limited intellect. Do some research! This piece of music is immensely complex. There is even a wikipedia explanation of the piece. You don't have to look very hard. It is only the ignorant who denigrate that which they do not understand.

  • Great song and great dancing! Thanks for posting!

  • To say its not good because it's simple is just awesomely DUMB. It's just so beautiful. If I could write something so beautiful and so simple......I'd be both hugely proud.....and very rich.
