When one practices with the blade, remaining engaged with an opponent too long in edged weapons increases the chance of reversal, losing the weapon and being cut back.A strategy often not practiced enough is to cut and run, engage, dis engage until the opponent loses enough blood that they weaken and cannot continue. The release of so much adrenaline gives them more power and energy to survive, but also increases their blood flow and pressure and suring a quicker bleed out once cut deeply in the arterial areas.

  • Funny how easy it is to convert WC into just about any fighting form.....

  • I fear some people are to quick to jump on the concept that one who wishes to do harm may learn some new skills by viewing information such as this. Rather then looking at the concept of your loved one, who lives in a violent world such as we do, learning information that may help them.

As I learned in Submission grappling, to protect/defend yourself against an attack or submission you must first understand the tools and skills required to perform such.

  • should it be self defense what the guy with the knife show´s?????

is he the bad guy????if not....it´s never self defense
