  • one thing i dont get is how its based on probability. if you flip a coin 50 times, the probabilty is that it will land on heads and tails both 25 times. but that never happens. its usually 15 to 35 or something close to that. i didnt say it doesnt work, just saying i dont get it. but then i again i went to a normal college, not MIT

  • Sadly there will be some people watching this thinking.. "AHHH, I'd never thought of it this way before..."

  • Chances of having quads are not probable, since it's about 1/2000 with just a pair on the board. Trips on the river (JJ8J4) makes it 1/44 your opponent has a jack, which is slightly over 2%....Expert Village, I hereby turn in my application to take over this clown's position;)

  • When the board is paired on the river(eg37875) and you have 33, chances some else has a better FH are with the hands 37(2possibilities),78(6),75(6),55(3),88(3),85(9) total of 27 hands, with a total of 52-5-2=45 cards left that makes for 45*44=1980 hands..27/1980=1,4% per opponent

When the board is double paired on the turn (eg9898) and you can make a FH with 1card(9 or8) , chances are even worse... 3outs/44cards left*2cards in each hand= 13,6% against 1 opponent. Against multiple it's 13,6%*n
