1JZ MKIII Supra vs Fox Body Mustang

My 1JZ MKIII Supra on stock twins with intercooler, exhaust and 17psi vs a fox body mustang. 302 motor with slight bore over so its something like a 310, shitty heads, a cam, intake, exhaust, and a drag tire set up lol.

Nice... So stock twins can take 17PSI? I'm thinking about going 1JZ on my own MKIII, I want to run it on Road racing tracks, So from what I hear the 1J has better throttle response then the bigger 3.0's is that true?

@Texarmageddon the 1uz,2uz 4.7l v8,3uz then we have the ur v8 motors which replaced the uz motors 1ur,2ur 5.0l v8 which makes around 423hp..then the 3ur is a 5.7l v8..then theres nissan and there vk motors which nissan uses in there GTR race car thing makes nice power and tq..and toyota makes there engines like bricks thats why they handle lots of power and keep it that why..... they make lots of size v8s 4l 5l 5.7l

@MrOpoooooooooooooooo LOL 2k HP is NHRA levels...and large displacement engines only make it that far...clearly you missed the Underrated 2011/2012 gt engine... meaning it makes more power than shown on paper. Second, you have no proof that japanese v8s beat american v8s as one chevy uses LARGE displacement OHV engines which will be very hard to beat mod for mod. Ford has used mostly SOHC up to this point. In the end, Most EURO and JDM V8s are out of your paygrade except the 1/2 UZ

@Texarmageddon the 1uz can handle 2000hp modded NO SHITT...the 2011 gt makes like 412 and isf like 416 but i dont know about the 2012....i can have a jap v8 beat a american v8 mod vs mod and some stock for stock with blot ons...and nissan v8s are just nasty.......toyotas is in nascar with there truck v8 which is being put in some scion drift cars .........but i could care less about american cars ..ill stick to my clean JDM or EURO import ....

@MrOpoooooooooooooooo the 1uz isn't taking 2000hp on 50 psi... not stock anyway.... isf is a 5.0l V8 and produces slightly less than the 5.0 (underrated) in the 2012 GT. I'm just looking for this magical import v8 that dust american v8s because when its all said and done.... there aren't any... apples to apples... they are ALL just about the same

@Texarmageddon well a 1uz lexus v8 vs a 5.0 80s mustang and it had around 200hp or a lexus isf 5.5 liter v8..fuck im talking built for built and mod vs mod the jap v8 will keep up with any american v8..the 1uz can handle 2000hp on 50 psi............ but it depends on the motor coming from either side ..but every time a import wins on a youtube video ALL the muscle car guys start comparing shit that has nothing to do with the video they just watched..but whatever !!!
