@lexwill1 you can find it as "a new dawn" in the robotech perfect soundtrack

Well, you see, the engines on an F-22 don't segment and move at a joint. After further research, I found that the VF-1 has a dual-compressed engine. (PM Me for details.) An F-22 runs on the same, simple system current fighters use.
As for it at 1:10 scale, if weight followed scale, it would weigh about 1.8 tonnes (Metric), and be 1.2 meters tall in Battroid.
-
Couldn't they just the duct it like the F-22?
-
if it was 1:!0 scale it only be like 3m tall and weight about the same as a UAV Drone. (too
lazy to look up Predator's weight)
-
sell to me at second hand price, :)

The only impossibility in the VF-1, at least from an engineer's standpoint, is the engine design. A Turbine, thermonuclear reaction or fueled, is a turbine, and would not be segmentable. You get either GERWALK, Battroid, or Fighter mode, but not all 3. The rest of the plane, I see few problems with. (Like the laser turrets, Transformation speed, etc)

if only there was a 1:1 scale... too bad nobody realizes it's possible.. or at least try to make one..
..ooh.. I would like to fly in one of those..
Is that the Toynami 1/100th size?
