No assists. I play through an entire 1-hour practice session - 37 laps.
How I setup the Xbox 360 controller in rfactor:
Firstly, make sure to grab this add-on to the Microsoft drivers to enable reelfeel force feedback- it's rather unplayable without it! http://www.katch.ne.jp/~morii/driver/...
Try starting with these settings:
Controller 1
X Axis Deadzone: 4% Sensitivity: 0%
RX Axis Deadzone: 15% Sensitivity: 0%
Y Axis Deadzone: 15% Sensitivity: 0%
RY Axis Deadzone: 15% Sensitivity: 0%
Z Axis Deadzone: 0% Sensitivity: 0%
Rates
Digital steering: 10%
Digital throttle: 10%
Digital brake: 10%
Speed sensitivity: Normally 80% (very important)
Force Feedback
Type: Gamepad
Effects: Full
Strength: 100%
It is very important that you follow this bit:
1.apply all your settings in the force feedback tab (all pages)
2.go back to the first page (with the strength meter) and make sure it is correct
3.exit the program with the "exit" button on the upper right of the screen DIRECTLY FROM THE FORCE FEEDBACK MENU
If you do not do it this way, your strength setting will be forgotten and will be at 0%. It's a terrible glitch. If you go back into the force feedback tab at all, you will have to redo the process for it to save.
Hope this helps!
Alright sweet so the 360 controller works with rfactor?
