Ghost coming back to life with Ambrosia - The Sims 3

His wife prepared him the infamous Ambrosia dish and there he is, leaving his ghost days behind and becoming a living Sim again! Gotta love The Sims 3! :D

HOW DO YOU GET A PLAYABLE GHOST?
When a Sim in your household dies, in the next few days you might get an opportunity from the Science Facility, saying that they're trying a next experiment to bring people back from the dead. You'll have to take the person's urn or gravestone (put it in your inventory) to the Science Facility. The experiment never works out as they hoped and the person comes back to the household, but as a ghost (which now you can control, and they won't disappear at 6am).
P.S.: Even if you Sim has died some time ago and you missed the phone call, if the gravestone/urn is still in the house and the ghost visits at night, you can have someone in the family make friends with the ghost. That usually triggers the opportunity again.

HOW DO YOU BRING THE GHOST BACK TO LIFE?
Having a playable ghost in the household is the first requirement. Then you need the ghost to eat AMBROSIA. Ambrosia is the last dish to be learned in the Culinary Skill. The person making Ambrosia usually has to max out the culinary skills and have very high gardening + fishing skills. In order to read the Ambrosia Recipe book, you gotta be at cooking level 10 (you learn the recipe by reading the recipe book, buyable at the Bookstore).
The recipe consists of Deathfish (that is caught at the Graveyard, between 12-5 AM, using Angelfish as a bait) and Life Fruit (special seed usually found around the graveyard, that you can plant after you reach Level 7 of gardening).

i have a whole family of ghosts and its getting annoying, just sounds way too hard to make ambrosia though

@rozzamixyyey I always have at least one person in my neigborhoods that is a perfect gardener, with a garden full of "special" fruits. So that makes it one less thing for your sim to work on. They can just go to their perfect garden neighbor and pick the life fruits. There are mods to make theses special fruits/fish buyable at the grocery store, if you want to do it the easy way.

@Mikalabusch Not really. It's like they "reset" to the first day of his age group (teennage/adult, etc) and his life goes on from there.

if u need to bring back ghosts faster cheat and use testingcheatsenabled true then type buydebug then go to bebug catagory and chose lifefruit and deathfish spawn thing then learn to cook (try making a natural cook sim and move them in) then serve bon appitete.

i cant find the urn or gravestone at my house yet i know exactly where he died, what should i do?
