6 · First C program built (from terminal)

In this occasion, the first attempt of building from the command line is done. We set the cmd.exe properties so that it is more practical to modify the commands. We change some directory names in order to distinguish IDE built exercises from command line built exercises. Using GCC as the builder, we write the name of the .c file to be compiled as the first argument to GCC.

@xavorTM It's mainly because of the audio editing, I am working on it. The most recent videos in the series have been improved. The goal is to take the audience as quickly as possible to learn C, and the side-effect is that there are barely any pauses in the narration. You can't have it all in this life. There are compromises. You can also have a friendly and fancy voice narrating for tutorials, but that would be better fit for another video series.

You can try downloading it from mediafire /?xc78ki2a4e37pci and then try to put it at the system32 folder insider your C:\ hard disk. Otherwise use notepad instead of edit.com

I have Windows 7 64 bit, which has the "edit" command removed completely and thus it is not recognized when I type it. Is there any fix for this or do I just have to give up?
