I really didn't watch your videos or followed your profile. I ended here after looking for something related to trucks. I think that a few weeks ago I saw a video you did backing up a trailer.
I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to see you leave, but I'm glad you go to something you miss and like (family). Trucking can be good and even fun, but life goes fast, so take your decisions (as you did) and enjoy them. New subscriber here.

Not to sound like a total smart ass, I would try to find the most fuel effecient truck as I could possibly find for the type hauling I would expect to do. A lot of research would have to be paid attention to. And with new technology coming along often, the choice could change often too.
