The most amazing finish at Coors Field on June 23 in the ninth inning as Jonathan Papelbon was on the mound facing pinch hitter, Jason Giambi for the rockies. Prior to this Ian Stuart went yard to tie the game off Papelbon's first pitch! with the score tied 6-6 Giambi sends one deep and Denver went freaking crazy!! Outside on the streets it was insane... police were toasting beers with little kids, nuns were dancing on buses....

  • FYI, on the firt pitch of the inning Papelbon gave up a homerun to Ryan Spillborgs to tie the game!

  • I was at this game and Giambi's homer bounced about 4 rows in front of me. The stadium was madness. I lost my voice for like half a week.
