I got this game for Easter, and when I got it, I instantly thought, what the crap? This game looks ridiculous! Because I saw Caesar and Cleopatra, but LINCOLN? and BONAPARTE? WHAT THE CRAP! But I started to play it, and thought it was fun. Now I'm addicted.

They didn't rush it for easy money, the bad graphis are the full extent of the DS. With all of the programming and detail that went into the PS3 and XBOX to be put in full into a handheld is amazing, what little the DS had left to offer was put in for graphics.

this game is AMAZING! Some matches go on for hours! Very deep experience

the one good thing I can say about this is that fighting looks a bit better than the ipod version. Everything else looks crap tho.

I have this game, and I love it! I play it all the time! It's really fun to start super small and then control the whole map and colonizing. :)

@vikkem8 Could be due to the fact that they assumed children/kids would be getting their hands on this, and may want more cartoony/friendly appearance. Either way, gameplay elements are great and you definitely get a good bang for your buck compared to most DS games.

Love this franchise... They have really messed this one up. Rushed it out, to make more cash. Hope they bring a much better one out soon for the DS...

I actually agree, the original games rock. It's also true they just made this one real fast for easy money, hence the primitive graphics.

@frylock1998 Yes you can, using a nuclear warhead is in fact one of the few 3D animations in this game.
